• Revealing mistakes: The dead Russian hit man at Chili Palmer's house can be seen moving his eyes.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: Towards the beginning of the movie when Chili Palmer and Tommy Athens are at the sidewalk coffee shop, there are two women sitting at the table directly behind Chili Palmer. In one shot, the woman closest to Chili Palmer cuts her food with her fork and brings her fork to her mouth to eat, but there is nothing on her fork.
  
  
• Continuity: When Sin's gang hangs Raji off the balcony, his hat is gray. As the hat falls and the camera follows it down, it's brown. Then, when it lands on the cement and the Russians pick it up, it's gray again.
  
  

• Continuity: When Raji is talking to Nick Carr his silver chain is repeatedly in/out of his shirt between shots.

• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Chili comes down stairs at Edie's house, Sin mistakenly quotes “Knockin on Heaven's Door”: "that cold black cloud is coming down ". The correct lyrics are "That long black cloud is coming down."
  
  
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Chili meets Steve Tyler after the basketball match, Tyler can be seen mouthing the other actor's lines.
  
  
• Continuity: The Aerosmith tattoo on Edie's back when she is outside on the lawn chair and Chili first sees her in the movie is obviously different than the one she shows Steven Tyler later in the movie at the Laker's game.

• Continuity: Linda and Steven Tyler appear on stage for their song. In the first shot she's behind him to his right. In the next shot she's moved behind him to his left, may be a flip.
  
  
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When talking to Chili and Evie, Steven Tyler says that he has never appeared in a movie up to this point and doesn't want to start now, obviously a sarcastic line as he is in the film. But, he was also in Wayne's World 2 in 1993. Since the movie is set in 2004-05, Tyler, playing himself, should have known that.
