Mark Kermode understands The Wicker Man and loves it as much as you and I do - this fact comes across vividly over the course of this documentary. Michael Deeley calls Christopher Lee 'paranoid' and refers to Wicker Man fans as 'loonies', he is a deeply unpleasant man - this fact comes across vividly over the course of this documentary. Britt Ekland is charmingly unrepentant about her infamous "most dismal place in creation" comment and, lets be frank, Newton Stewart in late autumn probably got away lightly. Of course, people switch on to watch stars, but wouldn't it be fascinating to hear the reminiscences of local people and the lower-billed performers sometime? All the same, this is a great documentary made by people who care.
