the main theme of this movie is that brothers are creating a House of Wax in a small town, which was started by their mother. however the catch is that all the figures inside in the house were real people who were murdered then turned to statues. As it turns out, the entire town has been turned to wax (even though it looks real), and that the only living residents are the brothers who catch visitors and turn them into wax.Parents should know that this movie does contain a lot of graphic violence including dismemberment.A girl's lips are glued together with "superglue", she separates them herself and bleeds.The girl's finger is cut off and it is shown bleeding a lot.A guy is cut on the lower part of his shoulder, and then stabbed. Later he is covered with hot wax, later another guy tries to take the wax off of his face but instead takes his whole cheek off.A guy is stabbed in the neck with a knife, and later the knife is thrust deeper by a guy pushing it down with his foot.A girl's ankle is cut and it is shown bleeding. She is later stabbed in the head with a sharp ended stick that is sent flying, and dies, then the killer pushes her head lower so the stick goes deeper, then the stick completly passes through her head.An arm from a covered women in wax is ripped off.A guy shoots two arrows to a guy's chest but does not die, he later heals them and blood is shown then.A man is beaten to death with a baseball batA man in stabbed in the legA man is stabbed in the chestA man is pushed down a set of stairs and he attempts to scawer away but the killer rests his foot on his shoulder and stabs 2 knifes into his neck and then pulls back. All you hear is skin breaking, then you see his severd head roll toward the screen and both of his eyes blink.

the group of teens gets drunk when they are camping out before a football game
There are many intense and suspenful scenes that focus around a killer stalking (and usually murdering) teenagers. Though the movie is not particularly frightening, these scenes may be too intense for some viewers.There is a sequence where we see someone being drenched in wax or wax imitation of some sort, ultimately solidifying him. this scene may be very disturbing to viewers who are extremely claustrophobic.
