Sex & Nudity

There are a few scenes of sex and nudity in Munich. There are two scenes when a man has sex with his wife. Only one of the two scenes contain nudity. In the other, a character has an orgasm while he imagines himself killing terrorists. There is another scene when you see a dead man bare naked in his bed. Lastly, there is a scene when a woman totally undresses before she is shot.

Violence & Gore

The movie contains extensively realistic depictions of graphic violence, many of which are recreated in accordance with actual reports regarding the events they depict. There are many bloody shootings, as well as stabbings. There are also many scenes in the film when bombs explode, sometimes followed by images of gory bodies. Near the beginning of the film, an athlete's bloody corpse can be seen, riddled with enormous holes from a machine gun, bleeding onto the floor. In one scene an athlete is shot through the side of his mouth from point-blank range with a handgun. A gaping, bloody hole is shown through both cheeks. Several scenes later he is shown again, holding a bloodsoaked towel to his face, in which he attempts to resist the terrorists once again before being killed with shots to the head and chest. Actual footage is shown of pools of blood and body parts being swept off the floor in an airport after a suicide bombing. A man is shot in the chest, and crawls along a street with blood spurting out of the wound and soaking his clothes for several minutes. After being shot in the neck, a woman stammers to a chair; blood begins squirting out of the wound as she gasps for breath, and she is promptly finished with a shot to the forehead. A teenage boy is shot in the head with a sniper rifle from very close range, with pieces of his skull and brain matter falling off as his body tumbles into a pool. In nearly all scenes of violence, victims' faces are shown contorted in pain unless shot in the head.

Profanity

There is not a lot of bad language in the movie, but sometimes you will hear the usual four letter words.

The Israeli agents don't drink heavily to begin with, but as the horrors of their jobs begin to overcome them, we see them start drinking more and more heavily. At one point, one character mentions to another character during dinner, that there is a rule against being a blind drunk, in the jewish holy book.

The movie itself is very heavy and intense. Aside from being intensely suspenseful and graphic, it depicts strong violence and brutality against unarmed and/or innocent people and conveys a pervasive atmosphere of terror and paranoia. Potentially very disturbing for all but the most sturdy-minded of viewers.
