Continuity: No less than four times does Hooper roll his wheelchair to the left to exit the dugout. Given that there are steps this would make his exit a little tricky.
Factual errors: It is revealed that Buttermaker only pitched two-thirds of an inning in the majors, and left with a 36.00 ERA. This is statistically impossible, as a pitcher completing two-thirds of an inning must have an ERA that is a multiple of 13.50.
Continuity: When the girl is selecting a pitch she has her glove in between her arm and her side. But in the next shot she has her glove on and ready to pitch.
Continuity: While Bullock is talking into the microphone at the start of the game, the pop shield disappears between shots.
Continuity: At the end when the kids are given the non-alcoholic beer, Tanner opens his and starts drinking it in the dugout, but as they walk out you can see Tanner open his bottle again.
Revealing mistakes: In the final scene of the movie the camera pulls back to show the American flag blowing briskly in the wind, but all the trees behind the flag are perfectly still.
Continuity: In the middle of the championship game when Billy Bob yells at the team in the dugout his watch reads 10:48 when he starts yelling while at the end of the yelling it reads 11:45.
