Having promised the comedian that she would do so should the pilot of "Lopez Tonight!" got picked up, the star of "Desperate Housewives" showcased the pole dancing skills she learned from Carmen Electra when she visited the show on Monday, November 9.

Longoria came to the show dressed in a sparkly black mini-dress and discussed several issues before realizing Lopez had a pole set up on his stage. In the beginning, she insisted that she wasn't dressed appropriately. But, the actress kept her words and made an attempt. After which, she admitted it was more successful than the one she had tried at home on Valentine's Day.

The vampires are feasting on the nominations list of 2010 People's Choice Awards. Announced Tuesday, November 10 at Beverly Hills' Sls Hotel, "True Blood" is among the shows gathering three nods. The CW's "The Vampire Diaries" follows next with two.

The HBO show takes in almost all the categories possible for one show to achieve, only missing the spot in Favorite Drama Actor. Meanwhile, as a newcomer "The Vampire Diaries" attains the honor to battle it out with "True Blood", "Lost", "Heroes" and "Supernatural" in the category of Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show.

However, not only the blood suckers are dominating the list but also the doctors. Representing "Grey's Anatomy" are Seattle Grace medical practitioners such as Patrick Dempsey and Katherine Heigl, and from "House M.D.", it's the chief of Princeton Plainsboro, Hugh Laurie.

Details Emerge on Desperate Housewives Plane Crash

10 November 2009 4:02 PM, PST | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

We know two things about the upcoming place crash on Desperate Housewives:

It will take place on December 6; Dan Castellaneta will pilot the wayward jet.

Now, thanks to a new report courtesy of E! News, more details have emerged regarding this mid-season cliffhanger.

For starters, the the plane will crash into the home of one of the four ladies seen below:

The odds seem to be in Bree's (unfortunate) favor, as sources also say Bree and Orson will be trapped inside their house.

Because other insiders say a "fan favorite" will die in the wreck, our money is on Orson. But we won't know the answer until early 2010, when the series returns from its winter hiatus.

AfterElton Briefs: "People's Choice Awards" Are Pretty Gay, Cher, Adam Lambert Debuts Big, and more

Finding a picture of Tom Ford with clothing on was difficult; ironic since he designs clothes.

Following this assortment of carefully-selected news items, interested readers can find a refreshing pic of a hot man in underwear. Yes, we're serious.

There is a full court media press on Tom Ford's A Single Man. The Advocate interview is wide ranging, from his days trying to make it in the city, why the book spoke to him, the love of his life, and more. From the teaser photo, The Guardian had a nice profile on up-and-coming fashion designer Henry Holland, and the article is unapologetically gay, which we'd not get in the U.S. My favorite quote: I think it [being gay] makes you more experimental. There's not that whole thing of, 'I can't wear that, I'd look like a poof', because you are a poof. AOL has a nice interview with Ben McKenzie about Southland's future, »

2009 People’s Choice Nominees Celebrate Mediocrity, Web Celebs

Who needs critics? Who needs experts? Since the dawn of the internet and the democratization of entertainment, who really needs someone to tell them what is good and what is not good? Clearly, the people who made up the list of nominees below -- the 18 million voters of the People's Choice Awards -- need some assistance. It is sad -- void of great drama such as Mad Men and full of teenie-bopper schlock like Twilight -- but also triumphant, as it makes me feel great about my own job security. Thank you America, for once again proving that you need me. The 2009 People's Choice Awards will air on January 6, 2010 on CBS. Longoria Parker Shows Off Stripper Pole Skills On TV

10 November 2009 2:01 PM, PST | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Actress Eva Longoria Parker gave comedian pal George Lopez a thrill on his new late-night TV show on Monday - by hitting the stripper pole.

The Desperate Housewives star told Lopez she'd show off the pole dancing skills Carmen Electra had taught her if the pilot of his programme, Lopez Tonight!, got picked up.

And when the Latino funnyman debuted on Monday, sexy Longoria Parker fulfilled her promise.

Dressed in a sparkly black mini-dress and sporting a new blonde look, the actress shrieked when she realised Lopez had a pole set up on his stage, but insisted she wasn't dressed appropriately, joking, "You're gonna see my hoo-ha."

But the game actress made an attempt, admitting it was more successful than the one she had tried at home on St. Valentine's Day.

She explained, "Carmen Electra is a friend of mine and she has these stripper poles that she sells, so she sent me a stripper pole for Valentine's.

"I set it up myself... and I was trying to do the sexy dance for Valentine's and I got on it to swing and I went `whack' and I fell, so I never really got to do it." »

It's a sporty kinda time out there in TV land, as evidenced by the top two shows on the broadcast networks for the week ending Nov. 8.
