Don returns home. He hasn't found his son's mother. He's not even sure the letter was genuine and not written by Sherry (Julie Delpy) who left him in the beginning of the movie. He then sees a young man he previously saw at the airport, and thinks he might be his son. Donny offers him a sandwich, and they have a philosophical discussion, but the young man is scared off when Donny asks him if he thinks he's his father. Donny tries to catch him, but gives up. Just then, another young man drives by, listening to the same kind of music that Donny likes, who looks very much like he might be his son.
