Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this new feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes .

Sex & Nudity

A husband and wife kiss, and a husband and wife lie in bed together talking. A man walks outside his house and although he was wearing clothing when he was in the house he is now nude (we see his bare chest and abdomen) and a postal worker reacts to his nudity. A man covered with bubbles and bandages sits in a tub (his bare shoulders and chest are visible). A woman wears a low-cut top that reveals cleavage. A man tells another man that his left nipple is higher than his right nipple. A man tells another man that he is growing his hair long because he is "trying to spice up his love life." A young man tells a man, "I love you" (it appears to be from admiration but the other man is uncomfortable with the comment). A boy talks about the size of an animal's reproductive organ. A theater marquee reads "40 Year Old Virgin Mary." One of the kids, and the dad, says 'penis.'

Violence & Gore

We see waves lapping at the top of a large dam that then breaks open, sending a massive flood across the land toward Evan's subdivision. Everyone there panics and boards the ark that's then swept away by the floodwaters. The ark crashes through Evan's house, while the raging waters rip through others. Everyone onboard the ark then holds on as the floodwaters carry it toward Washington, DC, including over a tall waterfall. When they approach a stone bridge on the Potomac River, Evan asks for help and a huge wave lifts them above that and careens down the national mall until the ark crashes right on the doorstep of the U.S. Capitol. It's presumed many people would have been swept away by the floods (and wounded or killed), but that's never made clear one way or the other.

Profanity

At least 1 incomplete, possible "s" word (although it could just as easily have been the start of the word "shoot" or any others that start with "sh"), 4 uses of "Oh my God" and 1 use each of "By God" and "God" as exclamations.

1 use of "pissed."

About Evan's long hair, beard, and the way he's acting, Rita sarcastically asks, "What, are you shooting up Rogaine?"

While driving, Evan reacts adversely to two tarantulas crawling on him, and some snakes slithering along him.
