Goofs:

Factual errors: In his opening voice-over, the character Johnny Grand (Ron Livingston) attributes the quote "Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive," to William Shakespeare. Sir Walter Scott actually wrote that in Marmion in 1808, about 192 years after Shakespeare died. This probably is the quote most often erroneously attributed to Shakespeare.

Not nearly as bad as people would lead you to believe.

First off, let me start by saying that i am a fan of Ron Livingston, that is the only reason I decided to watch this movie after reading the reviews. I almost didn't watch it because of what people said about it. And it was pretty good. Especially for a low budget, and a directorial debut.

The flow is a little off in some spots, i'll give the reviewers that much, and there is one falling scene that is reminiscent of the old vertigo film, but it doesn't really drag the film at all. My only gripe is that at times the dialog felt a little forced. Some of the conversations felt a little too scripted. Trying to be a Quinten Terrinino film, but with nothing to say.And everybody always had the perfect way to say it. But other than that I recommend that you give this movie a shot, I give you 7 out of 10 odds that you'll enjoy it.
