Domino (2005) More at IMDbPro »

The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A scene when a man is watching adult films. (Sex/Nudity is briefly shown).

There's another scene in a strip club. (We see some naked women).

two people have sex. (We see some nudity, but is briefly shown).

Violence & Gore

Not as frequent as other films in it's genre, since the bounty hunters usually bring in their targets alive, but scenes of strong violence are peppered sporadically. The strongest scenes include Choco shooting a man's arm off, as well as 4 men framed for a robbery being shot in bloody fashion(which turns out to not be true), and a climactic shootout which shows 3 of the bounty hunters shot in the stomach, as well as several villains and FBI agents. The scene ends with the gang's bus driver detonating a bomb he strapped to himself to stop the chaos. Domino manages to get into the elevator quickly enough to avoid getting shot, but Choco and Ed die from their bloody wounds while in the elevator.

Profanity

Pervasive and sometimes sexually explicit language. There is one use of c*nt, plus 150-something uses of f*ck, and at least 25 uses of s**t.

Domino smokes incessantly and drinks a bit. Most of the other main characters are shown drinking as well. Domino also takes a drag from a cigarette in a mexican gang's ashtray that could be a joint. A target's mother puts mescaline in the bounty hunters' coffee, and their high ends up causing them to crash their RV. A group of teenagers are briefly seen drinking from beer kegs and doing lines of cocaine.

The scene of the hotel shootout may be frightening for some people as several people (including main characters) die on-screen.

Also, the scene when a man's arm is dismembered may result very frightening, intense or shocking for some people.

the whole movie has a violent environment to it
