Storyline

Undercover Agent Malcolm Turner is back and this time he's out to expose the suspected designer of a deadly computer "worm" that would allow outside forces access to sophistical and critical government intelligence files. But unfortunately, the only way the crafty agent can get next to the worm's creator, Tom Fuller, is to access the programmer's Orange County home as the new "nanny" to Fuller and his wife Leah's children: toddler Andrew and his two older sisters, Carrie and Molly. This means that Malcolm must once again rely on his sure-fire alter ego, the take-no-prisoners Hattie Mae Pierce, a.k.a. "Big Momma," to bring down the bad guys and prove that a woman's work is never done! But once undercover, the job proves another tough juggling act for Big Momma as "she" must manage the hectic lives of the three Fuller kids, keep up with their myriad of daily activities, and handle the many household chores, all while secretly trying to dig up information on Tom's computer virus. Goofs

Throughout the movie, Malcolm uses 2 different methods to transform his body into Big Momma. One is through the use of a body suit (made of a stuffed cloth material, which is used when Big Momma is wearing a dress) and the other one is through the extensive use of prosthetic makeup (for when Big Momma is showing more skin, at the spa and at the beach). In the beach scene, Malcolm is clearly using the prosthetics when Big Momma is in a one piece bathing suit as much skin is exposed. Big Momma then puts on a big sun dress to cover up (while still wearing the bathing suit and prosthetics). Moments later, she starts chasing Bishop down the beach to the pier. After Bishop jumps off the pier and Malcolm (now with his mask off) looks over the pier, you can see under the big sun dress on his right shoulder that he is wearing the fat suit, not the prosthetics. There was no opportunity for him to have switched from one to the other. See more »

Actually, I thought this one was funnier than the first
28 November 2006 | by (Chicago, Illinois) – See all my reviews

My friends and I started watching Big Mama's House 2 a couple months ago, but we never got to finish, and in some ways I was glad because I usually like to see the first film before I see the sequel. Most times you feel like you have missed out on so much and you might not understand the humor. So I rented Big Mama's House and was sorely disappointed, I was really nervous and was thinking that maybe I didn't want to see the second one. But my friend insisted that I see it and to give it a shot.

Malcom is back and this time he's a safety teacher who has felt like he's lost his edge, but he has made a promise to his wife since she is pregnant. But when he finds out there is an investigation on a top secret defense CD being released to some very bad men, he goes undercover as Big Mama to be the man who has the CD and his family. He lies to his wife and work and the family he is caring for, but ends up saving the day for everyone.

I have to say that I honestly laughed a lot more in the second Big Mama's House more than the first one. This one seemed just more light hearted and it was fun, despite it being predictable, I think more should give this movie a better chance, because in my opinion this was better and well thought out more than the first.
