No, this movie was not made by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer (the creators of Date Movie, Epic Movie and Meet the Spartans) and they have no involvement. This film was created by Craig Mazin, and others who worked on films such as "Scary Movie", "Airplane!" and "The Naked Gun".

So stop grouping them together as "those stupid spoofs" - they are still independently all professional movies made by 3 different crews
