Trivia:

During the performance of "The Galway Girl" by William (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), Holly (Hilary Swank) flashes back to a performance of the same song by her late husband, Gerry (Gerard Butler). It is later discovered that William and Gerry were best friends, and William is seen briefly on stage with the rest of Gerry's band, during the flashback performance, while Gerry is singing to Holly.

Goofs:

Continuity: During the scenes on the road, just prior to their first kiss, Holly is wearing Gerry's leather jacket which changes states of openness several times. At one point, the jacket is slightly open with the flaps flat against her chest, then the jacket is shown more open with the flaps flipped back on themselves, then switches back again. Then, Holly starts to walk away and remembers that she is wearing his jacket & reaches up to take it off. Cut to a long shot where it shows the jacket buttoned about halfway up from the bottom.

Great Movie, Must See Romantic Comedy.

My most favorite romantic chick flick the last two years!! What makes this movie so great is if you have no expectation. Because of reviews and not thinking Hilary Swank could pull off romantic made this movie shine. She pulls it off and the movie is way better than the reviews. Tear Jerker! The shining happy moments are definitely the comedy relief Harry Connick Jr. brings. He is good in this movie... sexy... charming and hilarious. This movie has a great ending and just is so beautiful. I read half the book and wow, the movie makes the book look bad. The movie is better than the book!

Now I love seeing girly movies, mostly they have disappointed me or been just okay. This one was better than all the rest.
