I saw this film two years ago. I must admit that it disgusted me in the first time. I almost left the theatre. But I finally stayed, and I don't regret it. A weird film. Unusual, confusing, that makes you reflect on many things, including the depth of the human soul, psycho analysis, metaphysics in the human relations.
Here is the topic: A couple - man and wife - decide to leave the city and go to a farm, lost in the french country side. A farm where there are battery reared geese. The husband faces existentialists problems, especially with his wife. Sexual problems...And he discovers that the company of geese can replace that. He has to masturbate the male animal to enhance the reproduction among the farm...
It sounds absolutely crazy but it's real. And the movie is fascinating, intriguing. It can even make you puke.
But it's worthwhile. You won't see this every where.
