- The license plates used in the film feature the slogan "Beautiful Evergreen State", a combination of the license plate slogan of British Columbia ("Beautiful British Columbia", where the movie was filmed), and the state nickname of Washington State (The Evergreen State).
- When Eric runs out of his apartment irritated by barking dog, you can see a car parked next to his house. It's actually an old Russian "Zhiguli VAZ 2104" produced by VAZ car factory (Volzhski Avtomobilny Zavod) from the middle of '80 till present day.
- When Claire first visits Eric, Eric tells Claire he's a VP at Kahane-Drake, a brokerage firm. Kahane and Drake are the executive producers of the film.
