• Continuity: In the scene where Arthur takes a swig from a bottle of beer hidden on the floor, he raises it with the label facing him. In the next cut scene, as he lowers the bottle, the label can be clearly seen facing the camera.
  
  
• Anachronisms: The movie takes place in the early to mid 1970s. Peter Gabriel's song "Sledgehammer" is used by the school marching band. The song was not released until 1985 on Peter Gabriel's album, "So".
  
  
• Anachronisms: This film is supposedly set in the 1970s. In the scene where Arthur is eating bologna and mayonnaise from the fridge while waiting for Annie, the mayonnaise container in his hand is a style that wasn't marketed until approximately the time the film was made (around 2006-2007).
