- SPOILER: Because they could not use the name SPECTRE, the name of the evil organization in the film, Eon renamed it OCTOPUS for the game instead. They also could not use the name of SPECTRE's leader Ernst Stavros Blofeld, so they used Goldfinger and Dr. No as the masterminds instead.
