The 2006 remake of the seventies horror film about the devil spawn takes a younger approach, casting Liev Schreiber and Julia Stiles as the parents of a boy who acts out in strange ways that leaves a body count in his wake. Mia Farrow (who knows a little something about devil children from Rosemary's Baby) is the child's satanic governess, Pete Postlethwaite a priest on a mission to prevent the apocalypse, and David Thewlis a photographer who takes on the mission. John Moore directs. Available in separate widescreen and full screen editions.
