- Revealing mistakes: During the scene when Pete is walking through the forest during the early hours of the morning, the sunlight is coming from directly above him as seen by the shadows beneath him and the plants around him.
- Continuity: The tour boat is initially drawn to the crocodile's territory by the distress flares of another boat in trouble. It can be assumed that one or more persons died in this attack, though no bodies are seen. However, in the article shown in the closing shot of the film, only four deaths are listed - those of the characters followed by the action of the film.
