A crew of African American pilots in the Tuskegee training program, having faced segregation while kept mostly on the ground during World War II, are called into duty under the guidance of Col. A.J. Bullard.
Italy, 1944. Throughout the movie, the pilots do not seem to experience any effects from G-forces whatsoever, even though at one point, they dive straight down for more speed and pull up to chase the jet fighters.
