Very likable, 2 October 2008

This is a nice little short film that was recently posted on IMDb for viewing in the States. Hopefully, rights issues can be worked out so you can see it for yourself.
Reza is a disaffected young man. He walks and talks through life like he's in a funk and his life is going no where. One of his only friends is Amy, a very strange lady who seems to delight in doing what she pleases--without worrying about what others think. However, Amy is about to move to Australia and so the two spend a final day together doing whatever Amy wants--no matter how stupid and seemingly pointless. Some of their antics were pretty weird but the film was quite engaging thanks to a cute script and decent acting. I really would like to see more films by the folks that made this as it showed a lot of deftness and had a quirky likable style.
