A great example of why French & Saunders weren't regular writers on this show.

I don't hate this episode but I don't really like it either. The story seems to almost be a parody of The Screaming Skull but that can't be right.Maybe it is, who knows? It starts off good.Ade's character has just remarried and all he cares about are his dogs and estate. When he tries to introduce his new wife to Rik he can't even remember her name.Dawn French(Consuela) is always showing up wherever Saunders' character is and beating her to everything. One time Saunders is writing in her diary and looks away for a second and French has read and replied to what she was writing.Stuff like that is really funny but the story isn't that great. This episode actually made me laugh out loud a lot more than most.Peter Richardson's character is hilarious and at one point they keep cutting to Rik Mayall running way too many times and that cracked me up.But the ending was extremely predictable. To me the twist ending is the most important thing about this series and this episode failed at it.This is worth watching at least once but it's nothing you would tell your friends about.
