Trivia:

Peter mentions that he can't get over "Party of Five" (1994) being canceled. Both "Family Guy" and "Party of Five" were canceled and brought back after letter writing campaigns by fans. In addition, Lacey Chabert who voiced Meg Griffin in season one and part of season two was a regular cast member on "Party of Five."

Goofs:

Continuity: When Peter tells the story of his ancestor Ulysses S. Griffin, after he finishes his beer first, he places the mug on his head. In the shot of him saying, "Deal," the mug is back on the table. At the next shot, the mug is back on his head.
