This so-so episode has House trying to diagnose a mobster who may have been poisoned to keep him from testifying in court. Meanwhile, the new hospital boss continues to ride both House and his regular boss, but in an interesting twist of events, the new boss seems to be warming up to House, even though House treats him in a less-than-friendly manner throughout. The really interesting part of this episode involves House removing a series of small toys from a child's nasal passage, over several days. The toys consist of, in order, a policeman, a firefighter and a fire truck. Then House is struck by a thought and goes digging one more time. The culmination of his efforts is very funny, although his poking tweezers up the kid's nostril, in extreme closeup, isn't so funny. The special effects here are superb.
