Quotes:

Martin Sloan: [to his younger self] Martin, I only wanted to tell you that this is a wonderful time of life for you. Don't let any of it go by without enjoying it. There won't be any more merry-go-rounds, no more cotton candy, no more band concerts. I only wanted to tell you that this is a wonderful time for you. Now. Here. That's all, Martin. That's all I wanted to tell you. God help me. That's all I wanted to tell you. more

My First Real Introduction To Film, 3 February 2009
9/10

It was 1975. I selected this episode to videotape a selected scene from this television series (a scene towards the end where Gig Young is talking to a small boy). My selection was based on how surreal and deeply moving this episode was. Twilight Zone continues to resonate with great emotional and intellectual power more than 34 years later. An in particular, this episode represented some of the best of Rod Serling's work. What one discovers in this episode is many person's dream of childhood and the past, the good times, reflecting on choices, and what it meant to be young. Yet for every person there is a time and place. There is acceptance and realization about one's place in time and living. 9/10.
