Kate French has been a series regular on Showtime's hit series The L Word as Mia Kishner's costar and lover. Kate is currently sharing scenes with Ed Westwick in Gossip Girl. Her new film, Sutures, is due out soon with Jason London and she has a cameo in the new hot movie Fired Up! Kate French is no rookie when it comes to the entertainment industry. Both her parents, Joan and Rob French, were fashion models, and her step-father is a fashion photographer. The Long Island beauty moved out to California to grow her ever-expanding resume by acting in a wide range of television shows and film. Kate's passion for writing keeps her busy when she is not guest staring on the hottest TV show or filming the scariest movie of the year. PopStar spoke with Kate about her mysterious role on Gossip Girl, L Word finale secrets, and her passion for writing.

I want to let you all know that Lifetime Television is replaying Jenna Dewan's drama "Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal", so fans have another chance to see the movie.
The real-life story, which also stars Tatum O'Neal ("Rescue Me", "Wicked Wicked Games", 'Paper Moon') and Ashley Benson ("Days of Our Lives",'Bring It On: In It to Win It'), is about a group of mean girl cheerleaders nicknamed the "Fab Five". The girls ran their Texas high school and lived to break the rules until a new coach named Emma Carr (played by Jenna Dewan) tried to turn them around.
