- Just like in Stuart Gordon's Re-Animator, the zombie plague is unleashed via a neon green liquid that is supposed to be an experimental cure. Also, the responsible scientist is named "Dr. Stuart".
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)
- Jay Laga'aia has a cameo as a victim/Zombie. During his attack he gets is eye removed which is an homage to his one eyed character, Captain Typho, in Attack of the Clones.
