• Continuity: On the beginning of the film, Quentin says he has no luggage. But in the scene where he is at the train station, he can be seen with bags and luggages.
  
  
• Factual errors: When Claude Whitfield got arrested, Joe Black said that he was AWOL from the Army. At the end of the movie he has on a Marine Corps. uniform. Army personnel go 'AWOL'. Marines go 'UA' (Unexcused Absence).
  
  
• Continuity: In one of the first kitchen scenes, Chris Brown's camera keeps appearing and disappearing from around his neck.
  
  

• Factual errors: In the opening dinner scene, Melanie's boyfriend Devean reveals that he is a pre-law major at Morehouse College. No such major exists at that institution.
  
  
• Continuity: When Chris Brown's character Baby is eating dinner in the opening dinner scene, he is shown eating collard greens but the next scene when it shows his plate there is no trace of collard greens being there.
