Céline (2008) (TV) More at IMDbPro »

  • Factual errors: In the scenes where Celine wins the Eurovision Song Contest, she is performing her winning song in English to the audience in Dublin. However in real life she performed the song in French, as back then all participants in the Eurovision could only sing in an official language from the country they were representing. Therefore, as English is not an official language of Switzerland, she would not have been allowed perform in that language. Indeed, her winning song was never actually recorded in English.

  • Anachronisms: The song 'I Feel Too Much' was used when she hadn't recorded it yet. It was on her 'Unison' album, released in 1990. In the movie they play it when she's 18. But, at 18, she had just returned from her break, and had recorded new edgier songs in French with Luc Plamondon's help.
