I am a big fan of Kathy Reichs. I was anxiously awaiting her books coming to TV in "Bones." Unfortunately, it was on Fox, and they dumbed her down considerably and gave her some WB-type partner. I watch occasionally, but only when there is nothing else on.
Not so with Women's Murder Club. This show, after two episodes, features characters that look and act as if they are taken directly from James Patterson's books.
I am really glad to see Angie Harmon back. I miss Abbie from "Law and Order." She is great as Inspector Boxer. While I liked Pam Grier in 1st to Die, I can live with Paula Newsome as Dr. Washburn. Laura Harris makes a great Jill, and Aubrey Dollar is a great Cindy.
I really like the casting of Tyrees Allen as Jacobi.
Like 1st to Die, watching this show is like reading Patterson's books. A real pleasure.
