Beautifully shot, wonderfully written and laugh-out-loud brilliance combine to make this a must-watch show, 18 October 2007
Author: DVD_Connoisseur from England

Two episodes in and I'm hooked. "Californication" is one of the finest new shows out of the US for some time.

With big-screen visuals, a top drawer cast and Duchovny playing his most memorable role (I truly believe Hank Moody eclipses Mulder), this is a true televisual treat.

This second episode has some laugh-out-loud moments but the scenes of quiet humour are just as enjoyable.

UK viewers will note that "The Office"'s Lucy Davis makes her first appearance in this episode.

Without a doubt, one of the best shows on the box. Long may it continue.
