Sex & Nudity

A few scenes of intimacy between two people. Not explicit.

A glimpse of a breast is seen during the tub scene.

Violence & Gore

Kids bully another kid. We see some bruises later after he got in an off-screen fight with them.

A kid gets slapped brutally in the face. A fight between kids ensues, one kid gets brutally beat down and kicked when lying on the ground. There is some blood.

.A group of hooded people overwhelm a single person, they beat and execute him strangulating him with a rope making it look like a suicide. This scene can be disturbing.

A kid cuts another kids arms with a knife. We get very short views on sone blood at its arms. The kid is dragged under a bridge where its fate is left to our imagination. Nothing explicit.

Profanity

The swearing is very tame for a movie set in its location, with occasional uses of the f-word, and around 10-15 uses of the s-word.The movie didn't get its R rating from the language.

Alcoholism is a minor theme throughout the movie. A lot of alcohol is consumed on varying occasions. At one scene young adults are seen partying, taking ecstasy at a club and drinking.

The movie follows an ex-con who struggles with his reintegration into society. The theme of a childhood murderer can be disturbing when we are forced to sympathize with a very likeable main character.

We see a surreal, frightening scene of a murder that can be very disturbing.

Violence and psychotic behaviour between children can be disturbing to some people.

The movie overall is not very explicit but the emotional rollercoaster ride can be intense and the ending is especially intense and depressing.
