A Pureflix Movie for Pureflix Fans
22 October 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This movie may very well be above some of Pureflix's other fare, but, in the end, this was a movie made for Pureflix fans. If you liked God's Not Dead 2, What If . . . , and Old Fashioned, this is probably the movie for you. It's a fairly heavy-handed take on being 'colorblind' in regards to race relations. A noble message, but the argument is mainly presented from one side, and there is very little dramatic tension in the movie, making it feel more like a sermon than a movie. And that's fine, some people like sermons.

This is undeniably a competently-made film, but Pureflix's trademark Christian overtones would definitely make the film uncomfortable for any atheist or very secular viewer. If you're only vaguely interested in the film, maybe wait and check it out from your local library or wait for it to be shown in some local congregation.
