Paul Bettany and Cam Gigandet are in for some company, as Maggie Q has officially joined Scott Stewart's upcoming "Priest," based on TokyoPop's comic book of the same title.

Cory Goodman wrote the screenplay for the project, which follows a warrior priest (Bettany) who turns his back on the church to free his kidnapped niece from the hands of some ruthless vampires.

The Hollywood Reporter says Q will play a priestess vampire hunter. Gigandet plays a sheriff who is part vampire and teams up with the priest to save the girl.

Q's recent credits include "Mission: Impossible III" and "Live Free or Die Hard." "New York, I Love You" and "Rogue's Gallery" are two of her upcoming projects. Finally we get some girl power in this horror western. About time. »

First off, his next move is already made -- as we've reported, he's co-starring in the HBO series Bored to Death opposite Jason Schwartzman. He's in Youth in Revolt, Rogue's Gallery and a couple other projects that are near completion. So after that, THR mentions three possibilities: Man-Witch, the Todd Phillips film that Jack Black abandoned last summer, Due Date, also with Philips, and Say Uncle. Man-Witch sounded awful when »
