Oh my god - thats bad, 5 November 2009

Been looking forward for this one for a long long time. And then it came - and went. This is so bad it's painful. They dropped everything that was good about the original show. The time handling was awful... Didn't know if hours passed or weeks. And did the screenwriters turn off the logical part of their brain? No government involvement at all, no agencies who sit down and plan strategies or even hint at being skeptical of the good intentions. It's the press that greets the aliens and the press handles the contact with the alien... OH MY GOD!!

It is so simple. Put people with reasonable intelligence at a table and let them brainstorm what would happen if 28 spaceships appeared above larger cities of the world. One guess is that common people wouldn't be going up on guided tours three days after the aliens arrived.

This is Hercules and Xena bad - but without the humor. This is a long way from Firefly for Alan Tudyk and Morena Baccarin.
