A film that was described as a cross between Mulholland Drive and Persona (two of my favorite films). 15 minutes into the film I was tempted to leave the theater.
The film plays as a SNL type spoof of Mulholland Drive type thriller with none of the brains or wit or ingenuity of the Lynch masterpiece.
Even for the most patient art-house fans (and I rank very highly up there) will lose their patience with this 90 minute film.
Incomprehensible, too intentionally strange for it to reach the auteur level brilliance of Lynch's film. The actresses in the film playing the SOUL and JENA were both very soft on the eyes (i.e very sexy) and some would like the Mulholland Drive level lesbian scene(s) that play out but I could not recommend this 90 minute French thriller to anyone for just those reasons.
