Storyline

Follow 14 American students and 7 French ones as St. Edward's University launches its study abroad program in Angers, France. They travel to Paris, Normandy, Brittany, and discuss their studies and experiences.

The movie begins with the arrival of students in France from Austin, Texas. It goes through their experiences in Angers, their travels around the country, and the ways in which study abroad changes a person.

Students eat in caves once inhabited by troglodytes, kayak in the Atlantic Ocean, visit Mont St. Michel, and ride their bikes around the city.

The Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull erupted in the middle of spring break, leaving everyone stranded across Europe. The students discuss this among other things.
