Trivia

With this film, Daniel Craig will become the third ranked actor to have played the character the most times in the official movies, after first ranked Roger Moore who made seven official Bond films, and second ranked Sean Connery (the first and original series James Bond) who appeared in six official Bond movies, but Connery equals Moore's seven Bond movies, if one counts Connery's unofficial Bond film Never Say Never Again (1983). If one counts both the tallies of Moore and Connery as being equal with 007 [seven] pictures each, Craig will, with a tally of five films with Bond 25 (2019), become the second ranked actor to have played James Bond the most times in cinema movies, after the Moore-Connery tie for first place. Down the tally order would be Pierce Brosnan with four flicks, Timothy Dalton with two pics, and George Lazenby with one picture. David Niven portrayed the character of Sir James Bond once, in the unofficial spoof Casino Royale (1967), whilst Barry Nelson played James Bond once in the "Casino Royale" tele-movie [See: Climax!: Casino Royale (1954)].
