At the offices of Lockhart/Gardner Nick starts to talk to an army officer. It seems that everyone is in the same room as Maddia joins the waiting clients. Cary tells Nick the company he was trying to join with went with someone else. Will sees that it was the judge from the war court two years ago. Also the reporter asks if she has a comment on the sleeping scandal. Alicia is told this new case is about an army officer who said she was rapped. Eli has lost his office and the story is being printed about the cheating scandal. Laura Hellinger (Amanda Peet)meets with Alicia and is told her brief does not work. Kalinda believes that Eli might be under investigation and was able to get the address of the army worker accused of rape. Judge Charles Abernathy (Denis O'Hare) is the judge and Bucky Stabler (Brian Dennehy) is the opposing council. Judge Charles gives Alicia 24 hours to find some evidence. Eli calls Peggy back in to talk about Mandy. Eli says Mandy may be running the story because he convicted his cousin. Charles has the make the accused rapist come to court by Bucky. Eli hires a Cuban man to be her new carer. Ricky is called into court to be asked questions. Mddie comes to Alicia's officer to talk. Maddie tells Alicia that she is not supporting Peter but running against him. Alicia tells Eli that Maddie is running and she may have told her some incriminating comments. Cary tells Diane that Hayden is being abrasive because he is trying to be like Steve Jobbs. The Sergent said Wade is able to return so Alicia and Laura use him as a witness. Bucky brings up Ricky attacked Laura at 00:15 which means he was an army officer for 15 minutes. Eli got Mandy fired because of personal connection. Judge Charles has to dismiss the case because of Ricky's ranking. Maddie goes to Peter's office where he tells her she will bear her. Maddie tells him to drop out and run with her but he says never.
