Storyline

Burning Calcutta is a heartening story of a French NGO worker and a nurse in a Kolkata hospital. She nurses his fractured leg and helps to get him back on his feet. They fall in love but before they can enter into matrimony, she dies in a midnight fire at the hospital. The film is based on the ghastly incident at AMRI that was instrumental in taking more than 90 lives and has remained a scar in the heart of the city ever since. Written by kajal choudhury
