1/10

Nothing serious. Some teenage girls are dressed in suggestive outfits paired with creepy masks, however this is rather for horror.

A girl says she will shout rape.

The portrayal of infliction of pain and injuries is depicted in the film with some detail of blood and gore but is not prolonged and/or frequent.

The film contains many scenes of violence, with some of the stronger scenes depicting people being shot in the head with blood spurts.

There are also scenes showing random people inflicting violence on one another during 'The Purge', such as an arrow penetrating a man's head from the side; a man's head being severed by a guillotine; corpses hung from a tree with people stabbing them; etc.

The film also shows the protagonist engaging in knife fights with contract killers, exchanging jabs and slashes with spurts of blood.

As such, these scenes would be more appropriate for an older teen audience.

8/10

The film contains utterances of expletives such as "motherf**ker", "c**t", "c**ksucker" and "f**k".

Besides the strong language, there are several stereotypical references to the black, the white, the politicians, teenagers, adults, and Americans in general.

2/10

Some masked girls pour some alcohol onto the street.

A man is said to be a life-long drug addict.

8/10

With her security officer, Leo, and the help of ordinary people, Charlene has to escape her assassins during 'The Purge' in order to stop it once and for all.

The film contains several gory and frightening scenes and a few jump scares.
