Really Strays from the Book
24 February 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I have a couple issues here. Since the Overlords are deceivers, I would ask why. They seem to be able to manipulate darn near anything and anyone. They seem to have the power over life and death. They also act as judge, jury, and executioner in some settings. I'm aware that the children are the final focus here. I read the book and know basically what's coming. But all the chicanery that is going on. They are infesting the whole earth and could seemingly do their will. Even the plot line that we are precious beings and our will to live is strong and faith is the answer doesn't really come through. Again, I will put my "faith" in the final episode and see how this all plays out. As of right know I am highly suspect. Had this been an original screenplay, I would say it's a pretty good story, so let's look at it that way.
