Domestically, Star Wars: The Last Jedi grossed $220 million, second only to the $248 million debut of Star Wars: The Force Awakens back in 2015 in terms of the biggest opening weekends of all time.
In the international markets the film amassed $230 million, including $36.7 million in the UK, $23.6 million in Germany and $18.1 million in France. Globally, it recorded the fifth biggest worldwide opening of all time after The Fate of the Furious, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Jurassic World and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
