Ben Hogan was a dreamer with a gift. His passion in life was golf and he wasn't very good at the beginning, but he wanted to be. When Ben Hogan was 9 years old his father committed suicide in front of Ben. This was something that stuck with Ben his entire life. To support his family he took up a paper route and other jobs. He was still determined to stay with his passion. When ever he could he slept at the golf course using the papers he had to deliver as a pillow just to be the first in line to caddy that day. He worked at a casino and eventually learned the perfect way to strike a ball. This led him to accomplish some of the most amazing feats of any professional golfer that has ever lived. He was in a car wreck that nearly crippled him for life but he pushed through the impossible and won championships after championship. He is today still considered one of if not THE greatest golfer of all time. This is his story.
