The Little Hours (2017) Poster

Trivia

The screenplay is based on the first tale of the third day from The Decameron (1971).
Dave Franco and Alison Brie are actually married in real life.
Writer and director Jeff Baena only wrote a detailed outline for the film, which was loosely based on "The Decameron". The cast improvised their dialogue.
The joke in the title is that the word "Hours" is suppose to be pronounced as if there were a "W" at the beginning of the word.
After release, promotional posters and preview trailers for the film included the Catholic League's declaration that the movie is "trash, pure trash".

The film spoofs Decameron (1971). It is not the 1st time this has happened, Virgin Territory (2007) did the same.
