Did You Know?

Upon airing, this was the longest episode of the series, with a run time of 71 minutes, surpassing the 69 minute run time of Game of Thrones: The Winds of Winter (2016), though HBO previously announced that the following episode, Game of Thrones: The Dragon and the Wolf (2017), will break its record by ten minutes. Since it has become a common knowledge that White Walkers can be destroyed by either fire, dragonglass or Valyrian steel, Gendry should have armed himself with any of those like his companions (Jon - Valyrian steel sword; Jorah - dragonglass dagger; Beric and Thoros - flaming swords). Instead he is armed with a warhammer, which is useless against White Walkers. See more »

Beric Dondarrion: We'll meet again, Clegane.
Sandor 'The Hound' Clegane: Fucking hope not.

Amazing effects but poor writing
25 August 2017 | by See all my reviews

  • Ice breaks because a bunch of white walkers fall on it but doesn't
when the dragon head smashes on it

  • Snow has to rule the north but keeps fighting a bunch of low level
enemies for no reason instead of jumping on the dragon

  • Uncle Benjo does easy kills with his super effective fire weapon on
his horse but barely kills one on the ground. I could imagine it would have been way safer for John if both have taken the horse but there was "no time"
