Portal is an anthology of tales whose connection is death and a video that is played between episodes. The video is supposed to have a "Ring" aspect to it, but a middle-aged white man in a mask showing off his man-boobs is more comical than frightening, even with a machete. There were two early episodes that were not in English and had subtitles. One episode was animated and one was a hand-held camera, some very short. The final episode with the sorority sisters was worth a view, I wish they had all been that good. Death as a hitchhiker wasn't too bad and death chasing the girl in the forest...well we saw that coming, it has been done too many times before.

I am not sure where US Amazon got its description for the film. It appears someone looked and the cover and just winged it. How many billions is this company worth? I guess that's why.
