I have seen a lot of crime movies. This one with The Chaser and Memories of Murder is the best ever made.

Novelty in this suspenseful movie is the treatment of the relations with the media. It's a good idea from director to introduce some questions of ethics.

What a pleasure to be drawn into a story by such intelligent writing and outstanding acting. The story is told with impressive direction, plenty of details and realism to hook in most people. There's a real sense of place and time.

Can the movie be as beautiful, but at the same time be ugly. Like any dark mystery, the film simply raises questions, and gets the viewer to care about what happened to the kids.

Characters of parents, TV producer, professor, children, detectives, wives and many others, each and every one is so well casted it's hard to find anything to criticize.

The biggest pro for this feature is that they keep all the characters human by giving them a soft side. Nobody is either extremely good or bad, they just are humans making stupid choices and having to pay the price for it.

You have to see it to believe how perfect it is.

aka Mi.St.Er aka The Man from Nowhere. Reminds me first movies of John Woo. This was one of the best movies I’ve ever watched so far. Some may find it a bloody/violent movie but to me it was a very heartwarming movie considering the relation between a lone man, also a tormented soul, and an abandoned little girl.

Powerful script for a beautiful story: the movie follows the story of a young man with autism, named Cho-Won, who finds release only in running. As a child, Cho-Won regularly threw tantrums, bit himself, and refused to communicate with others -- finding solace only in zebras and the Korean snack, Chocopie. His mother never gave up on him and was determined to prove to the world that her child can be normal. As Cho-Won gets older, he begins to find a passion for running and his mother is there to encourage and support him.

Director: Jae-rim Han | Stars: Kang-ho Song, Dal-su Oh, Il-hwa Choi, Je-mun Yun

Votes: 1,169

Comédie noire, crime. "With middle age creeping up on him, the life and achievements of amiable, mid-level Korean gangster Kang In-gu are about due for an objective assessment. He’s certainly not in top streetfighting form anymore, and the young thugs under his command aren’t exactly an elite troop of criminals..."

I found this movie interesting: sometimes sad, so funny sometimes and sometimes bloody violent... Deep reflections on the dangerous life of a married outlaw and uneasy father of a girl teen. Finally, it's the story of an endearing bad guy.
