Move aside ladies, move aside white knights. Make way for testosterone, make way for men.
As is apparent, most of the films here are from the good old days of film-making (a good exception is Gran Torino; Eastwood's directing style is great). No unnecessary cuts and shaky cameras. You could *see* what was happening; you could *see* the action. The masculinity in these films is showcased to be easily seen in all its glory.

1. The Dirty Dozen (1967)

The walking scene is great; appropriate for a man named Walker.

The adventures of a drifter turned illegal prize-fighter during the Depression Era in New Orleans.

Charles Bronson. Another one of the original BAMFs.
He's in great shape here and is convincing as a bare-knuckle fighter.
8. Dirty Harry (1971)
