Lon Chaney - the actor who lay the blue print for Horror films.

by alexanderdavies-99382 | created - 8 months ago | updated - 3 months ago | Public

Before Karloff and Lugosi, there was Lon Chaney senior. He was an actor who could project both fear and sympathy into his film roles, via the use of some ground-breaking make-ups and for the way he could truly blend into the character he was playing. However, Chaney proved that he didn't have to rely on makeup in order to give a convincing performance.
